Under the guidance of Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio SJ , Principal of St. Xavier's College Kolkata (Autonomous) & the President of the Alumni Association of St. Xavier's College Calcutta, the Mega Health Check Up Camp organised by SXCCAA at the the Raghabpur Campus was a tremendous success. The philanthropic project was supported by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal and other front line private health care units of Kolkata and its surroundings. More than a 1000 beneficiaries from the adjacent villages of Raghabpur were supported with issues regarding eye, ENT, cardiology, medicine, gynaecology, paediatric and dental health complaints.
The event was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio SJ Principal SXC and eminent dignitaries like Shri N S Nigam, Principal Secretary Health and Family Welfare Department and Dilip Mondal, Minister of State for Transport of West Bengal along with the BDO and other eminent personalities. The philanthropy team of SXCCAA was there to help the volunteers from the Raghabhpur Campus of SXC.
