SXCCAA Women’s Forum North Bengal Chapter celebrate Father Rev DR.DOMINIC SAVIO S.J birthday as philanthropic day on 24th July, 2024 at "Sparsh O Spandan", Siliguri - an orphanage.
Children aged 3 to 15 years had a good time playing games, dancing and were given utility items as Gifts.
The event concluded with the performance by the children over there.Snacks were organised for all people present.
The event was truly fun filled and successful.
The event was partly sponsored by our member Sujoy Saha as well as members of North Bengal chapter Women's forum. We thank Rev Father Dominic Savio and our Secretary Mr Firdausul Hasan for all the encouragement and support.
PHILANTHROPY DAY-FATHER’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
With the blessings and guidance of Rev. Father Dominic Savio, SJ, Principal of St Xaviers College (Autonomous) Kolkata, and President of St Xaviers College Calcutta Alumni Association, the Women’s Forum of SXCCAA celebrated Rev. Fathers 60 th birthday as Philanthropy Day at Little Sisters of the Poor.
A cultural program by the members children and their friends enthralled the audience. The talented children through dance and music spread the message of joy, peace and harmony.
This was followed by a cake cutting ceremony where Father was joined by members of the Home who shared his birthday month. Gifts were donated by the Alumni which included new clothes, bed sheets and snacks for the members, followed by a special lunch for them.
The event was well attended and enjoyed by members of the Governing Council and other Alumni members.
The Women’s Forum are grateful for the support of Honorary Secy Mr Firdausal Hasan and all other Alumni members for their help and contribution in making the program an enjoyable one.
FELLOWSHIP AT VOILA
The Women’s forum organised its last fellowship of the SXCCAA calendar year at Voila cafe on 3rd July, 4pm onwards. It was a well attended event where members enjoyed various games, sumptuous refreshments and bonded with each other. It was a well spent evening with lots of fun and laughter. The members parted with some amazing gifts and memories to treasure.
REPORT ON ONLINE CREATIVE SESSION ORGANIZED BY WOMEN'S FORUM NORTH BENGAL CHAPTER HELD ON 29th JUNE, 2024
The Session started with a welcome address by Mrs Sonia Bhattacharya.
Mrs Santish Jajodia introduced the guest speaker Ms.Lita Andrews. It was a very interesting Session where she gave a demonstration of different handmade products like jewellery making, decoupage etc in details.
A vote of Thanks was given by Mrs. Swati Singhania . It was an excellent session and all members benefited greatly from it.
SESSION WITH NANDINI KHAITAN
With the blessings of Rev Father Dominic Savio and the support of the Hon. Secretary of SXCCAA Mr Firdausal Hasan, the Women’s Forum in association with the Knowledge series, organised a very successful seminar by ace lawyer Ms Nandini Khaitan on 14th June, 2024.
Our members gained a lot of insight into inheritance laws and Posh laws. The talk was followed by an interactive session.
It was a very well attended event by Members of Sxccaa and Women’s forum.
REPORT ON ONLINE DENTAL SESSION ORGANIZED BY WOMEN'S FORUM NORTH BENGAL CHAPTER HELD ON 21st May 2024:
In the beginning Santosh Jajodia, Co-Convenor of North Bengal chapter Women's forum welcomed everyone, Abha Ohri Member of North Bengal chapter introduced the guest Dr. Swati Das. The Dental session was conducted by the Dentist Dr. Swati Das she went above and beyond in our session, not only addressing dental concerns but also providing practical tips for everyday oral care she also gave us practical advice on dental care, even for minor issues, followed by an interactive session which was conducted by Mrs.Abha Ohri,A vote of Thanks was given by Mrs. Swati Singhania ,Committee member, Womens Forum SXCCAA North Bengal Chapter.
Report on Importance of Financial Literacy with Mr. Dhanuka.
Mr. Bishnu Dhanuka is the co founder of Millennium Mams, a non profit organisation, and he is on a mission to empower women through financial literacy. He graced our forum on 6th May, 2024. He addressed the women and broke a lot of myths on financial investments and explained the importance of financial awareness and independence for women. Mr. Dhanuka is also a Xaverian and it was our privilege to have such a veteran on board to enlighten us. It was an informative and interesting seminar with lots of interaction during and after the seminar. Mr. Dhanuka patiently handled all the questions. The seminar was a super successful one and all our members and guests went off well informed on handling their assets.
REPORT ON ONLINE YOGA SESSION ORGANIZED BY WOMEN'S FORUM NORTH BENGAL CHAPTER HELD ON 8th April 2024:
The Session started with a welcome address by Mrs Sonia Bhattacharya, Convenor of North Bengal chapter. Mrs Santosh Jajodia, Co-Convenar of North Bengal chapter introduced the guest speaker Ms.Divya Agarwal. The Yoga session was conducted by Yoga Mentor & trainer Miss Divya focusing on the role of Yoga in everyday life where she gave a demonstration of different asanas for various health issues and explained the benefits of each in details. This was followed by an interactive session which was conducted by Mrs.Darshita Trivedi, Advisor of mother chapter, Kolkata.
A vote of Thanks was given by Mrs. Anindita Bhattacharya committee member, Womens Forum

Mahavir seva sadan
Every year, the Women’s Forum of SXCCAA, organises a philanthropic event at Mahavir Seva Sadan, an NGO dedicated to helping the differently abled people.
Under the leadership of Reverend Father Dr. Dominic Savio SJ, Principal of St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Kolkata and President of the alumni association of St. Xavier's College (Calcutta), members of the Women’s Forum of SXCCAA, visited Mahavir Seva Sadan on 09.04.24.
We were also joined by GC member Mr Dharmen Trivedi, Past Secretary Mr Bharat Baid and Mr. Vineet Jain ,Member of Sxccaa.
During the event , we saw how artificial limbs are tailor made according to the patient’s measurements, and then fitted so that they are able to move confidently and use their limb with ease. Physical rehabilitation is also done, and everything is free of cost! DARE TO DREAM is the motto, and the results are miraculous! We also visited the cerebral palsy section, where children are helped using sensory integration therapy.
We also met physically challenged ladies who were trained in making gift bags out of cloth and paper, which were sold to help them earn a living.
Rev . Father Dominic Savio donated 15 artificial limbs there as part of the philanthropic activity. Father was felicitated by Members of Mahavir Seva Sadan and we were warmly welcomed.
We returned with our hearts full and a commitment to return, year after year!

With the Blessings of Rev.Father Dr. Dominic Savio, Principal of St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous) Calcutta and President of SXCCAA, on a nice Spring Sunday afternoon a Fellowship meet was organized at Friday Release, by SXCCAA Women's Forum Kolkata and SXCCAA women's Forum North Bengal Chapter. The meeting was presided over by SXCCAA Secretary Mr. Firdausal Hasan. Mrs. Sudeshna Roy Choudhury founder of SXCCAA Women’s Forum Kolkata chapter, along with Convenor Mrs Nupur Majumdar,Ms Hasnu Mukherjee,Mr. & Mrs. Sujoy Saha and Mrs Rupa Chatterjee from Kolkata Chapter, along with Mr. Vinamra Goenka convenor SXCCAA North Bengal Chapter attended the event. Mrs. Sonia Bhattacharya, Convenor SXCCAA women's Forum North Bengal Chapter, Mrs. Sriwant Chakraborty & Mrs. Santosh Jajodia Co-convenors along with members of Women's Forum North Bengal chapter welcomed the delegates from Kolkata with a flower bouquet. Members of Sxccaa Women’s forum Calcutta also welcomed Alumi Mr.& Mrs. Kamal Mittal at the meet.
Mr. Firdausal Hassan spoke on the activities of SXCCAA with a presentation and spoke highly about’Looking Beyond ‘organized by SXCCAA, North Bengal Chapter. He along with members of SXCCAA Kolkata chapter was of the view that, North Bengal Chapter should initiate steps for philanthropic activities in this region to help the underprivileged and also initiate a membership drive to increase moreparticipation of members to make SXCCAA more vibrant with various activities.
Members introduced themselves and were encouraged to give their views on how to make the North Bengal Chapter stronger and Mr Firdausal Hasan assured of all the support and help from the Kolkata Chapter whenever required.
Mrs Sudeshna Roy Choudhry spoke on the journey of Sxccaa women’s forum Kolkata from the time it was founded and its various activities, also complimenting Women’s forum North Bengal on their activities so far and extending the support of Mother chapter whenever needed.
SXCCAA Womens forum Kolkata chapter presented a momento to all the participants of SXCCAA Womens Forum North Bengal chapter which was highly appreciated by all.
The meet concluded with cutting of cake followed by lunch hosted by Mr. Hasan and organised by Mr Sujoy Saha who also offered the use of the venue to the North Bengal Women’s forum for organising the fellowships in the future.
Looking forward, to working with the Women’s forum SXCCAA Kolkata chapter for many more events in future.

Women and Beyond
With the blessings and benevolent guidance of Reverend Father Dr Dominic Savio, Principal of St Xaviers College (Autonomous) Kolkata and President of St Xaviers College Calcutta Alumni Association(SXCCAA), and the support of Mr. Firdausal Hasan, Secretary of Sxccaa,the members of the Women's Forum of SXCCAA presented WOMEN & BEYOND, Chapter 2 on 13.2.24 The event celebrated the indomitable spirit of womanhood, and reinforced our belief that the superpower which gives a woman her strength lies within herself. The evening began with a mesmerising performance by Devlina Ganguly and her talented troupe of dancers.
Saluting the women who make a difference, the Women's Forum facilitated eminent personalities, namely celebrated actor Churni Ganguly, talented vocalist Iman Chakraborty and Indian athlete Soma Biswas, the legendary archer. The felicitation ceremony was followed by a very interesting panel discussion, ably moderated by Rita Bhimani. The panelist's shared anecdotes about their personal journey, work life balance and their dreams and ambitions. This engaging session was indeed insightful and inspiring It was truly a celebration of the unstoppables!

On 27th February, the Women's Forum organized a workshop on Japanese delicacy callsd sushi.
The workshop was conducted by the Renowned chef of the famous Japanese restaurant 'Nori' at Westin Hotel, Rajarhat. Here the members were taught in detail, how to make different types of SUSHI.there was a testing session after the workshop. All members enjoyed this Japanese delicacy with some hi tea too.The hospitality of westin, Rajarhat was commendable and all the ladies parted happily.

A Google meet was organised by sxccaa Women’s Forum North Bengal chapter on 10th February, 2024 at 5pm. It was attended by members from both North Bengal chapter and Mother chapter, Kolkata.
The guest was Dr.Smita Das Ghosh, a Renowned gynecologist from Siliguri..It was an informative session about Women’s health. A-grooming workshop was organised over Google meet by sxccaa Women’s Forum North Bengal chapter on 30th January, 2024 at 3pm. Ms Pratusha Dutta from Siliguri, a grooming and professional make up artist demonstrated the art and science behind make up and personal enhancement The members from both North Bengal chapter and Mother chapter, Kolkata actively participated in it. The program was successfully conducted with active participation and lively interaction between the members and the guest speaker. On 19th January, 2024 Sxccaa Women’s Forum organized the 1st Fellowship of the year.
The theme was based on Rajasthan it was titled "APNA GAON". All the members gathered for an evening of fun and frolic at the pichuesque garden of 15,queen's park at the bungalow of our co-Convener Mrs.Sujata Bose. The decor was that of a carnival, colourful and vibrant.the music, all folk songs of Rajasthan and our members doing ghoomar on the beats.The food was the gastronomical delight, As if brought straight from Marwar.With the amazing weather afternoon, chill and vibrant ambience a good number of our ladies enjoyed and made memories

On 8 th January, 2024 the SXCCAA Women’s Forum organized a jewellery workshop.
Jewellery is a tressure that lasts from generation to generation and it is also a great way of investment.
The workshop was conducted by Vandana Daga,owner of Shreshtha diamonds. It was a well attended workshop where our members learnt what to keep in mind when investing in real jewellery, how to take care of their precious stones with simples of articles at home and to check the quality and purity of their jewels. It was a very interesting and an eye opening session.

Under the leadership of Rev Fr. Dr. Dominic Savio S.J., Principal St. Xavier's College Calcutta and President, St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association, the SXCCAA Women’s Forum organised a Christmas meet -'SHARE AND CARE” on 18th December, 2023 at The Little Sisters of the Poor.
The program was well attended by a large number of members.
Many gifts were donated by members.RevFather handed over a new freezer, Sound System,Micro oven,mixer grinder and many more items to Mother Superior for their use.Christmas cake was served to all. Supper was sponsored by our alumni member Mr. Bharat Baid. Women's Forum member Pooja sang a Christmas Carol and Swastik performed old melody songs. Ruchi Chandak dressed up as Santa and distributed goodies to evetyone.
It was a great evening. May we continue to spread the joy of Christmas.

SXCCAA Women’s Forum North Bengal Chapter organised its maiden philanthropic event on Sunday, 17th December, 2023 "Share and Care" at "Sparsh O Spandan", Siliguri - an orphanage.
Children aged 3 to 15 years had a good time playing games, dancing and were given utility items like water bottles, pencil boxes and tiffin boxes as Christmas Gifts.
The event concluded with a magic show which the youngsters and even the adults present thoroughly enjoyed. Lunch was organised for all people present.
The event was truly a fun filled and fulfilling one.

Monday An Online dessert workshop by Pastry chef Ruchi Chandak was organised by SXCCAA Women’s Forum North Bengal Chapter in association with Mother chapter Kolkata Women's forum.
It was on Facebook live.
Convenor Sonia Bhattacharya welcomed everyone. In an hour’s session , Ruchi explained the construction of a modern layered dessert with presentation . The session was interesting and very well attended by the forum members and others.

ANNUAL TEA MEET 2023
The first event of the Alumini Calendar, The Annual Tea meet was held on the 18th November, 2023 at Father Depelchin Auditorium in the premises of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
Under the guidance of Rev.Father Dominic Savio SJ, Principal St Xaviers College Calcutta, President SXCCAA and the support of Honorary Secretary of SXCCAA, Mr. Firdausal Hasan, the members of Women's forum started the preparations of the event more than a month in advance.
The activities were lined up with an enigmatic and rocking performance by "Nikhita Gandhi" who set the fun mood of the event with her exhilarating tracks and got the audience grooving.
The evening was further lit up by the graceful dance performance by Tanushree Shankar Dance Academy alongwith the veteran danseuse herself.The audience was captivated by the beautiful blend of strength and grace in the performances.
This was followed by the pinning of Governing Council members and Women's forum working committee followed by felicitations of sponsors and invitees on stage.
After the programme in the auditorium, the crowd was led to the field which was blooming with activities and decorative lighting all around and stalls of tea, mouth watering snacks, juices and desserts. The main attraction on the ground was the Treasure Island which was adorned by gifts like the gold and silver coins and articles.
Members and guests also won various gifts at the live fun and entertainment quiz at the ground. Yellow Straw, Chai Break, Wow Momo and Ecclesiates Café put up their respective stalls.

It is a matter of great pride for all of us that the event went off as planned and with your blessings Father, and everyone 's support it was a successful one.
SXCCAA Women's Forum members organised one of the biggest philanthropic event of the year on Father's birthday at the Little Sister's of the poor. They arranged a proper birthday party for the house mates with caps , whistles and goody bags . Two budding Xaverians Rishabh Mukherjee and Himanshu put up a musical programee which had all the seniors on their feet . Women's forum donated 2 wheel chairs and 3 walkers for Father's Birthday. All our members came forward to contribute for this philanthropic event a special mention to few members for their generous contribution, namely ; Meetu Kakrania , Sujata Rampuria , Ruchita Bajaj ,Renu Agarwal Shalini Jain,Vritti Khosla , Sanjukta Mehendiratta , Sujata Bose, Vibha Chawla, Anisha Kishnani .
A heartfelt note was given by Father. The entire event was supported by our Honorary Secretary Mr. Firdausal Hasan. It was an amazing event and everyone enjoyed thoroughly. The event was followed by snacks.
On 21st june 2023 wmen forum had organized a monthly program. This time it was workshop on pro biotic drink which is called Kombucha by 4 ladies who are home brewing it. It was held in renowned venue called The Bhawanipore house.
In addition to the brewing the cafe helped us in showing and tasting Buddha Bowl which is a speciality in their cafe. The workshop was well attended by lot of members. In the end all enjoyed food and beverage.
On 19th May ,2023 ST.XAVIER'S COLLEGE CALCUTTA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WOMEN’S FORUM had organised a fellowship in Scrapyard. It was a fun filled memorable event which was well attended by around 18 people. Ended with sumptuous food and lot of interesting games

SXCCAA Women's Forum organsied a make over workshop with Make Up Artist Megha Dixit Lakhotia on 10th of May at Credo Cafe . The workshop was well attended by members. Megha taught us the minute details if skin care and DIY make up for day and night both . It was an informative session with lots of queries answered and the members were extremely satisfied with the entire workshop.
On 18th April 2023, the Women's Forum of St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association organized a philanthropy program at Mahaveer Seva Sadan. The event started at 3 pm and had participation from 7 forum members.
During the event, we got an opportunity to visit different sections and witness the great work done by the organization. We visited the Cerebral Palsy section and saw _Sensory integration therapy_ , which aims to help children with sensory processing difficulties to regulate and organize their senses. We also witnessed Eye clinic and Motion therapy for hyperactive patients.
One of the most remarkable experiences of the event was witnessing the manufacturing process of artificial limbs. Members saw how the measurements were taken and how the mold was made, and finally, the process of making the final product. We also witnessed the working of artificial limbs and were amazed at how it helped patients to regain their mobility and independence.
It was wonderful to see that the artificial limbs were making a huge difference in the lives of patients who had lost their limbs. Four patients were donated artificial limbs by the forum, and the members were filled with joy on seeing the happiness on their faces. It was a pleasure for the forum to contribute to making the lives of these patients easier and more comfortable.
In conclusion, the philanthropy program organized by the Women's Forum of St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association at Mahaveer Seva Sadan was a huge success. The forum members got an opportunity to witness the great work done by the organization, and it was heartwarming to see the difference it made in their lives. The event was a great reminder of the importance of philanthropy and giving back to society.

Program consisted of Panel discussion and felicitation of the unstoppable women like Ms. Monisha Pailan, acid attack survivor, Ms. Usha Uthup , eminent singer, Ms. Gargee Roychowdhury Actress, Ms. Raya Chatterjee renowned speaker. The program started with an amazing dance performance by renowned danseuse Ms. Jaya Seal Ghosh followed by a panel discussion of our guests. We heard some heart stirring stories about their lives and their journey.This was followed by a foot tapping performance by the legend Ms. Usha Uthup. It was an enthralling evening and the audience enjoyed thoroughly.
Report on Philanthropy Program by Women's Forum of St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association at Sisters of the Poor
On 15th February 2023, the Women's Forum of St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association organized a philanthropy program at Sisters of the Poor. The event was held to celebrate the birthdays of geriatric members born in February. This report outlines the program and its events.
The program began with a warm welcome speech by Sister Bernadette, the sister in charge, who welcomed the Principal of St. Xavier's College, President of SXCCAA, Rev. Fr. Dr. Dominic Savio sj, along with the Women's Forum members, with great love, respect, and gratitude.
Rev. Fr. Dr. Dominic Savio sj was invited to give a speech in which he expressed his gratitude for being among all the in-house members. He mentioned that the house holds a special place in his heart, and he would like to celebrate his birthday with them.
A cake was cut to celebrate the birthdays of all geriatric members born in February, along with a live musical program by our Forum member, Puja Agarwal. It was a delightful evening, and all the members present danced and sang songs along with some enthusiastic golden agers. Hot snacks and tea were served, which everyone relished.The program concluded with a vote of thanks by DarshitaTrivedi ,Convener of Women's Forum and the Mother Superior. Everybody left with a sense of fulfillment. The philanthropy program was a success and brought happiness and joy to all the members present.

SXCCAA Women's Forum members organised a fellowhip at The Bhawanipore Tea House . It is a heritage house turned into a cafe . An elaborate hi- tea was arranged with some fun games . The highlight was a lot of new members attending the same . All the members attended it with full energy. It was an enthralling evening over some delicious food and flavoured tea!

SXCCAA Women's Forum members organised a talk on Mind Miracles by Mrs. Shivani Agarwal. She is a life coach and wellness speaker who spoke about how our mind plays the catalyst in our lives. It was an eye opening session on how to condition our mind in a positive way. It was well attended by not only the members of forum but also our male alumni members and guests. It was an enthralling evening followed by hi-tea.
SXCCAA Women's Forum members organised a day out at the heritage Alipore Jail Museum on 16th December . The centuries old jail was recently converted into a beautiful museum telling us the brave stories of our freedom fighters. It was a nostalgic evening leaving everyone in thought of the struggles of our freedom fighters . The walk was followed by a coffee adda session in the cafeteria . The evening concludes with a beautiful light and sound show that transported us to the era where are brave leaders fought for our independence. It was an evening that was fun yet everyone took an emotional part of it too .
ANNUAL TEA MEET 2022
The much awaited event on the SXCCAA calendar of events -The Annual Tea meet 2022 was on the 13th November.
The women's forum with the blessings of God Almighty, the support of our President Fr Dominic Savio and our dynamic secretary Firdausal hasan Started preparations to the event more than a month back with several round of meetings to chalk out each and every details to make the event successful.
The activities were lined up with a melodious and rocking performance by "Sourendro and Soumyojit" who set the mood just right.
This was followed by a series of protocol felicitations and invitees on stage and we wrapped up the evening with the performance by tollywood artist Rituparna Sengupta.
After the programme in the auditorium, the crowd was led to the field which was blooming with activities and decorative lighting all around and stalls of Tea, mouth watering snacks, Juice and desserts. The main attraction was the Treasure Island which was adorned by gifts like the Gold and Silver Coins.
Members even won a lot of gifts at the live fun quiz. Mercy Hospital ,Yellow Straw ,Chai Break, All you Knead and Eduaims had set up their stalls beautifully across the field.
We are thrilled to share that because of our members initiative,this year too we have been able to raise fund which is quite encouraging for us. It is a matter of great pride for all of us and thanks to all advisors and conveners who worked tirelessly to make this event successful.

On 17th August, 2022, ST. XAVIER'S COLLEGE (CALCUTTA) ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WOMEN'S FORUM organised AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV Celebrating 75years of Indian Independence as fellowship party at South City Mall. Members were present with dressed up in the tricolor theme. There was a best dressed competition and many more games were played and won by enthusiasts. It was a fun filled afternoon with great food. Members were given independence day badges and a tricolor cake was cut while all sang Desh Bhakti songs. Everyone left with fond memories and smiles in their faces.

On 5th August, 2022, ST. XAVIER'S COLLEGE CALCUTTA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WOMEN'S FORUM organised a WORKSHOP ON ZEN GARDENING. The session started with potting plants with the right amount of soil, minerals and vermicompost. Mrs. Dolly Nagrecha, a well known landscapist tought us how to balance nutrition and water in the right proportion for the plants, different varieties of indoor plants and how to maintain them. Later we decorated our pots with pebbles and figures. It was a fun filled session in which all participating members made their own zen garden. All queries were answered by our green crusader. It was a very helpful and informative session, much appreciated by all present. The programme ended with tea and refreshments. Everybody left with a sense of satisfaction.

WORKSHOP AT IIHM Kolkata
On 4th July , 2022, ST.XAVIER"S COLLEGE CALCUTTA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WOMEN'S FORUM organised a workahop on Table decor,Summer mocktail making and Homemade pasta making at IIHM Kolkata. The workshop started at 3.30 and continued for two hours .
The programme started with the IIHM coordinator Ms. Sangeeta Chatterjee welcoming the guests introducing the IIHM faculty . The food and beverage team first explained the do's and don'ts of table setting and the perfect way of laying the table. Following that we were taught a mocktail 'Coconut Elixir' which was extremely delicious and easy to make. Following that we were taught home made pasta along with the sauces and fillings. The session was extremely interactive and interesting and lots of queries were answered. Mrs. Kavita Lohia gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the Women's Forum. The programme ended with a High Tea and everybody left with a sense of satisfaction.

On 10th June, 2022, ST. XAVIER'S COLLEGE (CALCUTTA) ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WOMEN'S FORUM organised a ZUMBA SESSION at Real Yoga Studio. The session started with Bollywood zumba by Gaurav Sir . It was a fun filled session in which all participating members burned a lot of calories and had fun too.After an hour there was a Yoga Session with Kaushik Sir who taught us to relax and open up our joints. It was a very helpful and informative session, much appreciated by all present. The programme ended with a Bowl of protein rich salad and everybody left with a sense of satisfaction.

On 20th May , 2022, ST.XAVIER"S COLLEGE CALCUTTA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WOMEN'S FORUM organised Fellowship and workshop on making E-Card at La Macario Cafe. The programme started at 3.30 and continued for one and a half hours.
The programme started with our member Mrs . Ritu Buwaria welcoming the guests and the speaker Mrs. Kavita Lohia. She made the session extremely interactive and interesting with teaching one to one on how to make e-invites, posters and reels . She made the session fun with quirky activities and involving the entire group . Mrs. Darshita Trivedi gave vote of thanks on behalf of the Women's Forum. The programme ended with a sense of satisfaction.

XAVIER'S COLLEGE (CALCUTTA) ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WOMEN'S FORUM organised a gourmet frozen delights workshop at Credo fasion cafe. .The programme started with emcee Mrs. Purnima Bothra welcoming the guests and introduced Ruchi Chandak,a well known homebaker in Kolkata and a certified pastry chef.She shared recipe of ARTISANAL ICE-CREAMS. It was a live ice- cream making session in which she taught ice-cream sandwich, ice-cream cake,Cornetto and choco bars.The workshop proved to be very helpful and informative and much appreciated by all present. SEMINAR ON "Fitness is the new fad" with Mr Ranadeep Moitra.
On 25th March 2022, ST.XAVIER"S COLLEGE CALCUTTA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WOMEN'S FORUM organised a seminar on "Fitness is the new fad " at Room No.15.The seminar started at 6pm and continued for two hours . Reverend Father Dominic Savio SJ, Principal , St. Xaviers College , Kolkata and Mr. Firdausul Hasan, the Secretary of St.Xavier's College Calcutta Alumni Association were present on the occasion along with the guest for the evening Mr. Ranadeep Moitra , the fitness guru .
The programme started with Emcee Kavita Lohia welcoming the guests. This was followed by an inspiring speech by Father Dominic Savio SJ. This was followed by Mr. Ranadeep Moitra taking over the podium . He made the session extremely interactive and interesting with loads of queries answered by him . He broke a lot of myths about workout, posture and diet . The session went on for almost an hour and could go on longer with the interest shown by the audience . The audience comprised of Alumni members , guests and students of the third year batch of SXC. Our member Mrs. Pallavi Bajaj gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the Women's Forum.
