Warm festive greetings from the St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association (SXCCAA)!
We are delighted to share that the College and Association successfully hosted its highly anticipated Bijoya & Diwali Get-Together 2025 on Friday, 17th October 2025 at the Big Parlour, St. Xavier's College, Park Street Campus.
The evening blossomed into a dazzling celebration of Xaverian fellowship, radiating the theme — "The Triumph of Light Over Darkness." The event saw an enthusiastic gathering of Jesuit Fathers, alumni members and their families, all adorned in colourful festive attire. The joyful exchange of greetings beautifully bridged the devotion of Durga Puja with the illumination of Diwali, filling the campus with warmth, laughter and nostalgia.
Presiding over the evening, Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, S.J., Principal, St. Xavier's College and President, SXCCAA, delivered an inspiring address. He reminded everyone that "light always prevails when the Xaverian family gathers," urging all to live the core Jesuit values of Compassion, Integrity and Selfless Service, and to be "men and women for others" in all walks of life.
The evening came alive with cultural vibrance, traditional décor and a delightful spread of festive delicacies — creating a memorable ambience of joy and togetherness.
