Under the guidance of Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, SJ, Principal, St. Xavier's College(Autonomous) Kolkata and President, St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association a large group of SXCCAA members went to Paikhala and Raghabpur to celebrate the joy of Christmas with the students of the Paikhala Primary School and the underprivileged and marginalized children of the adjacent villages.Rev. SJ distributed 500 school bags with stationery and chocolates and other useful equipments to the children and blankets to the senior citizens.
A magic show was organised by SXCCAA for the students of Paikhala Primary School and the students also presented dance performances.
Mr. Firdausul Hasan, Secretary, SXCCAA applauded the St. Vincent Society Volunteers for their efforts in health camps and distributed christmas gifts among them.
The event was graced by Father Joseph Kulandai, Rev Father Peter Arockiam, Fr.Anil Gomes ,Fr. Naren and other Jesuit Fathers.Rev. Fr. Jonson Padiyara, SJ thanked SXCCAA and Philanthropy team for their year long efforts.
The program was well attended by members of SXCCAA.
