Warm greetings from the St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association (SXCCAA)!
We are pleased to share with you the highlights of the inaugural event of our monthly philanthropic initiative, "RIPPLES OF HOPE – Small Acts, Endless Impacts," held on 12th November 2025, in celebration of Children's Day at Apanjan/Anandaghor, Gobindapur, Kolkata.
The afternoon was spent in the company of around 100 children with special needs, and the atmosphere was filled with warmth, joy and genuine Xaverian spirit. Members of SXCCAA shared lunch with the children, followed by the distribution of gifts, goodie bags and sports equipment. Their smiles and enthusiasm truly captured the essence of this initiative.
We were honoured by the presence of Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, S.J., Principal of St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata & President of SXCCAA, as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, Father emphasized that empathy, service and inclusivity lie at the heart of the Xaverian mission. His words further strengthened our resolve to continue serving the community with sincerity and love.
RIPPLES OF HOPE will be conducted every month, reinforcing SXCCAA's long-standing commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.
